Founded by Samantha and Dakota, Kaha K9 is a student-led business built through the YES (Young Enterprise Scheme) programme in NZ. What started as an idea driven by a passion for dogs and natural nutrition quickly grew into a real business focused on creating premium, functional dog treats made from high-quality New Zealand ingredients. Through the YES programme, Samantha and Dakota have developed Kaha K9 from the ground up — managing everything from product development and branding to production, marketing, sales, and customer relationships. Their dedication, teamwork, and entrepreneurial mindset have allowed Kaha K9 to successfully grow into a brand that reflects quality, innovation, and a genuine love for dogs.
